From Ueno Sta. we were told to get on the subway to Asakusa via the Ginza line.

D walking through a long tunnel to the Ginza line hub.
The first few seconds inside their subway station was mindboggling, but after getting our bearings together, you'd finally see english words under each sign and direction, and people would really help you with how to get to where you want to go. Well, maybe just the station officers would go out of their way and offer help to clueless tourists (us) but probably not the hardcore japanese commuters. So going to Asakusa didn't take us long. What made us pull out our surival guide (Frommer's) was on what EXIT we should take inside the Asakusa Sta. that's nearest to the hotel. We were led by our survival insticts and our saved image of the hotel map on my iPhone to this particular exit which was just a block away to the Asakusa Plaza Hotel. Whew!

See? I told you it was a suspicious looking brown box!
