The Plaza

The Asakusa Plaza Hotel is probably located in the best part of Asakusa, it's just beside Kaminarimon Rd. which is where you'd probably start your day in Asakusa, and where you'd end it too. Our room was a Double but really it was just big enough for myself, ivy and our 2 luggages. And it doesn't have air conditioning, rather a Fancoil Unit (heater) great! But the cold outside was enough to make our room cool.

Our humble abode for two nights :)

Ivy loved the fact that there was a pot, thing to heat the pot (by Sony) a.k.a. hotplate and greentea bags in the room cupboard. Yeah, all the channels on tv are in Japanese. There are kimonos available for both of us to relax in but we thought we'd wear them in Kyoto instead. What D meant was, we'd forego wearing the robes provided by the hotel for the ones we'll probably get to wear in the Ryokan in Kyoto because you can't take these with you. The bathroom, is what i'd call a bathroom (in Font Size smallest), but the body wash and shampoo dispenser is a winner! Very eco-friendly as it minimizes the amount of trash thrown especially from the "tingi-tingi" shampoo and conditioner I brought. I suck. Wish we had one back home. Room 604.

Good to know! fo' shizzle!
